HOW WE STARTED
In 2021, Dijah was a travel occupational therapist and worked closely with a healthcare recruiter to find her travel positions. Intrigued by the recruiting process, Corey transitioned into construction recruiting at the same time, after spending 7 years as a construction insurance broker.
Corey worked at a construction recruiting startup for over a year before we decided to start our own agency. We joined forces using Dijah's people and marketing background, and Corey's sales and construction industry background, and Ground Up Construction Recruiting was born.
Why we focus on construction
We love and have lots of respect for the industry. We both have personal ties to it, and we love helping people find their “why” and a home to do it in.

We have a kingdom mindset in our business, and we owe all of our success and ability to touch others because of Him!
